Some years ago one of the legionaries of the VIIII found a box of what seemed to be a 15mm factory for railway modelling. Unboxing it show us that, sadly, a lot was lacking to build a complete factory. Nevertheless, there was enough scrap to create a fancy ruined area. Back then somebody took the responsability to build and paint the ruins, claiming he liked the idea. So we gave them the whole set. Four years later and without any signals of the project advacing (or for that matter, started), we decided to take back the material and do it ourselves at our castrum.

Once the estructure was clear, we glued it to a 15mm cardboard sheet used as base. In the next step we are adjusting the bas to the ruins by cutting it where neccesary, adding some floors and texturizing the whole thing. Once this is done we are priming it with an airbrush and apply several techniques to create some realistic ruins.
