Ricardo nos comentó hace unos días de probar un nuevo reglamento para partidas de combate moderno a 15mm, estilo Guerra Fría o Tercera Guerra Mundial. El reglamento en sí se llama Seven Days to the river Rhine, de Great Escape Games. El nombre del juego viene de un plan secreto homónimo de los soviéticos, en 1979, en caso de una posible guerra nuclear contra la OTAN (más información).
Ricardo told us some days ago about trying a new ruleset for modern combat setting at 15mm, either Cold War or WW3. It is called Seven Days to the river Rhine, from Great Escape Games. The name cames from the secret Soviet plan for invading Germany in the event of a nuclear war against NATO (more info in the link).
El juego es muy interesante y en cuanto lo tengamos un poco más por la mano, os haremos una intro explicando las mecánicas básicas del mismo, misiones y como se juega. A grandes rasgos, cada jugador genera cada turno una reserva de PIPs (como en DBMM) para ir dando órdenes a sus unidades o ir reaccionando a las órdenes/acciones del enemigo. Las listas son muy abiertas, pudiendo incluir blindados, infantería, artillería, aviación y/o helicópteros. Las primeras partidas que estamos jugando son a unos 500 puntos por ejército. Os dejamos con unas cuantas fotos de esta primera partida, en breve os colgaremos más fotos y más información sobre este interesante wargame.
The game is quie interesting and in the future we are making an intro detailing the core mechanics of it along missions and how to play. Long history short, each player generates a number of PIPs each turn (like DBMM) to give orders to their units or to react to the enemy ones. Lists are quite open and allow the players to include armour, infantry, artillery, aviation and helicopters.The first games were playing are 500 points per player.
