De cara a la campaña que empezaremos en unos meses, hemos decidido ir jugando algunas partidas de BKC4 para animar a nuevos generales e ir cogiendo mejor las reglas a los generales más veteranos.

Para esta partida organizamos dos fuerzas de 1500 puntos. Por un lado británicos y, por el otro, un combinado de alemanes e italianos. La misión sería una batalla campal para no complicar más la partida con el tema de misiones y demás.

Las tropas del Eje toman la iniciativa y avanzan rápidamente para tomar el pueblo que tenían cerca de su zona de despliegue. Por su flanco izquierdo, avanzan las motos del DAK para atacar al convoy de caminos británico de ese flanco, mientras los panzer protegen la entrada del pueblo.

Los británicos, ante el avance tan decidido de las tropas del Eje, deciden desembarcar de sus vehículos, los camiones no son lo mejor para acercarse a un enemigo que te va a disparar. Los blindados A-13 avanzan hacia el flanco de los Panzer III apoyados por dos 2" portee sobre camiones.

La infantería italiana toma el pueblo sin oposición y los Panzer III avanzan un poco junto a un Panzerjäger I y abren fuego sobre unos Bren Carriers que transportan infantería por el centro del campo de batalla. Los Bren no aguantan mucho el fuego alemán y son rápidamente destruidos. El flanco derecho británico consigue hacer que las motos alemanas se retiren gracias a las Vickers HMG y al fuego de las escuadras de infantería. Pero en el centro, las cosas no van tan bien. El Matilda sufre daños y queda temporalmente inoperativo y la infantería se ve suprimida por el fuego italiano. Lo que detiene el avance inglés y permite maniobrar a los italianos y alemanes. But in the center things are not so good for them: the Matilda is damaged and temporarely inoperative as the infnatry became pinned down because of Italian fire. This stops the English advance and gives breathing room to the Axis men. At the flank the A-13 pour fire against the Panzer III.

Al final, la batalla quedó en un empate técnico. Las tropas del Eje perdieron muchos de sus blindados, pero a los británicos les tocaba un avance a campo descubierto contra las posiciones italianas del pueblo, lo que sería una sangría, seguro.
In the end, the game ended in a technical draw. The Axis lost several armoured vehicles but the British faced an advance in the open against the Italian positions at the village, promising a bloody affair.

Como siempre, una partida muy divertida e interesante, que nos ha dado ánimos para acelerar el pintado de las tropas y la preparación de la campaña, para poder empezar lo antes posible.
As always, the game was fun and interesting, which gave us energy to boost paiting the troops and layung the foundations of the campaign to start as soon as possible.
