[Tamidian Tactics] Commandos en Sant Nazaire

 

Hoy os traemos una nueva partida de Tamidian Tactics, el reglamento que está desarrollando Ricardo y del que podéis encontrar más información, descargas, consultas en el foro de La Armada. El informe de hoy los ha escrito el propio Ricardo, Prich, esperamos que lo disfrutéis (lo podéis leer también AQUI).

Today we bring you a new game of Tamidian Tactics, the ruleset in devepoment by Ricardo which you can find at La Armada forum. This AAR was written by himself (as Prich). We hope you enjoy it.

"Interesante partida que jugamos ayer en el Club VIIII Legión, donde unos comandos británicos míos  tenían que abrirse paso para poder sabotear un U-boat de la Kriegsmarine mientras la tripulación del submarino liderada por Sergi intentaba que no llegaran a su objetivo.

Los marineros alemanes blandieron sus fusiles y todos los explosivos que pudieron encontrar, mientras uno de ellos adaptaba una mira telescópica a su fusil para esconderse entre las ruinas de la ciudad al acecho de los británicos...

We played an insteresting game yesterday at VIIII Legion club. My British commandos had to sabotage an U-boat defended by Sergi's Kriegsmarine men. The sailors took up the rifles and all explosives the could find while one of them adapted a telescopic sight to his gun so he could lurk the British among the ruins...

Este grupo salió de la protección del cementerio cuando el francotirador abatió de un tiro certero al sargento. A partir de ese momento el pelotón se quedó sin liderazgo y no supo sobreponerse a la muerte de su líder.

This group abandoned the protection of the Graveyard when the sniper shot down the seargeant with a well placed bullet. From then onwards the squad becae leaderless and was unable to overcome the death of their leader.

El bosque de la derecha tiene una MG-42 alemana, que a pesar de perder al cargador, tuvo frenado todo el avance de un flanco británico. Entre la MG y el sniper neutralizaron a los comandos.

The woods at the right include a German MG-42 which, even after losing one of the crewmen, managed to block the whole British flank from advancing. Between her and the sniper the commandos were neutralized.

Una granada alemana impacta en el grupo británico que buscaba cobertura en el Sherman inutilizado

British commando caught in the open shortly before being blasted away by a grenade throw from the ruins.

El grupo del cabo tuvo que acercarse al otro flanco para poder dar órdenes tras la muerte del sargento. Todo el avance de ese flanco se detuvo y se reorganizó para intentar neutralizar la MG y el sniper. (sin éxito)

El resultado es que los alemanes pudieron defender su submarino y los comandos volvieron a sus cuarteles con cuantiosas bajas. Sergi jugó de fábula el francotirador, que no pude localizarlo en toda la partida ya que la muerte del sargento me pesó demasiado y nunca tenía PIPs suficientes para poder hacer tiradas para descubrirlo. La MG barrió a medio pelotón, con pocas bajas, pero con muchos pineos, que unido a que el cabo estaba lejos, tuvieron a 5 soldados míos inutilizados toda la partida.

Las granadas también tuvieron su momento de gloria, ya que me pilló a medio pelotón en abierto, a medio camino de la cobertura, y un par de granadas me inutilizaron mis tropas.

Buena partida, rápida, realista y me llevo toda una lección de cómo se debe jugar a mi propio juego."

The group led by the corporal had  to close in with the one of the deceased sargeant in order to give orders. The whole advanced in tath flank was stalled and reorganized to try to neutralize the MG and the sniper (to no avail).

The result was that the Germans managed to defend their submarine and the commandos had to retreat after taking serious casualties. Sergi played awesomely with his sniper, which I was unable to spot during the whole game since the death of the sargeant weighted too much and I never gathered enough PIPs to roll for spotting him. The MG wiped out half squad with few casualties but several men pinned down. This coupled with the corporal being too far away meant that five soldiers of mine were useless for the entirety of the match.

Grenades had also their moments of glory. They fell among half squad out in the open, half way between covers, and a couple of them managed to disrupt my troops.

A good, quick and realistic game that had taught me a lesson of how to play to my own game.

Una partida muy divertida e interesante, tanto para los jugadores como para los espectadores de la misma, en la VIIII, el reglamento de Tamidian Tactics nos ha gustado muchísimo, es ideal para pequeñas partidas rápidas y muy muy reñidas.

The game was fun and interesting both for players and watchers. Here at the VIIII the ruleset of Tamidian Tactics is becoming quite popular, since it is great for small, quick and nasty engagements.
